About Kōkua.

Who are Kōkua?

Kōkua is anyone that is willing to pitch in, to give of themselves without looking for a reward.
As Kōkua you will make yourselves available to Ohana all over the world. 
You will meet these families, farms, NGOs online. Find ones that are into things you want to do and apply to come and work with them.

  • Are you traveling on a gap year?
  • Are you between schools?
  • Have you just finished a time of employment and looking for something different?
  • Do you want to trade your time to learn new skills?
  • Are you a sundowner?
  • Or maybe, just where you live, you have some free time to give to an interesting cause.

Then you are Kōkua! Register and start exploring.

For Workers, as Kōkua

Kōkua means to pitch in. This word, like Ohana, comes from Hawaii.
Some Ohana will be less formal than others.
Some may have specific guidelines, work, and living expectations.
You get the opportunity to search, see what others have said, see if an Ohana links with your passions and go.
We are all on a Journey with Jesus, as you receive traveler you get to see the many flavors of Jesus changing lives, yours included.
